Do I need to create an account?
No. Your pets and watchlist are stored in your own browser's storage. Nothing goes to a server, and you can start straight away.
How do you know which medicine my pet needs?
You choose a symptom — fleas, worms, itching, stiff joints. We search in the corresponding pharmacy category and put the remedies first whose weight class and age indication match your pet. Remedies in the wrong weight class are pushed down with a warning.
Where do the products and prices come from?
The shop shows the live catalogue of petsplace.nl. The price comparator also looks at the shelves of medpets.nl, pharmacy4pets.nl and dierenapotheek.nl. We are not affiliated with any of these stores; checkout happens there. Prices and availability may therefore differ from what you see here.
How does the price comparator find the cheapest?
We send your search term to four stores simultaneously, fetch the live range and filter on products that actually contain your keywords. What remains is sorted by price; for food we also calculate the price per kilo where possible, so a large bag compares fairly with a small one.
Does this replace my vet?
No, and that's not just a formality. Persistent symptoms, uncertainty about a dosage or a prescription medicine belong with your vet. We help with what you can buy freely and with remembering when it's time again.
